Therapy

There are times when the challenges of life can make us feel overwhelmed and isolated, and it may feel difficult to talk about how we feel to those who are closest to us. We go through transitions and crises and experience uncertainty and loss. How we deal with difficulties in life to ensure that our needs are met in our environment and with those people closest to us, are all very important aspects aspect to consider when moving forward in a way that allows us to feel empowered and able to deal with the day to day nature of life.

Your therapist will work in a way that may draw on a number of approaches in response to the themes you bring to the therapy space.

Through the process of exploration we encourage self-knowledge and self-awareness to help you grow and conquer issues that may previously have been experienced as overwhelming or unmanageable or even insurmountable.

We will aim to look at your issues in the present but also identify the roots of these problems from your past. We will explore how your past experiences may have affected the way you live today and operate within your life in the present as, when you are able to recognize and understand how you have come to be where you are, it will then be possible for change to take place.

Therapy can help you to develop ways of coping better and overcoming issues you may feel are holding you back. We can help you find and develop your existing strengths, identify what is really important in your life, and where and how you would like your life to be as we move forward.

We see individuals and couples with each session lasting 50 minutes.

We offer both short-term and open ended therapy, depending on your personal requirements and personal journey. We are committed to supporting your autonomy and choice.

We accept clients on the Employee Assistance Program and invite you to discuss with your provider and request that they submit a referral.

We are able to take on a limited number of low cost clients – please enquire about availability.
